Why?
I was searching for something to watch and I saw the title and thought it was the dumbest thing. The only reason I watched it if I am being honest.
What in the world?
A wedding planner travels back to her hometown and ends up trying to buy a piece of farmland so that she can use it as a wedding venue. Oh don't forget that her ex boyfriend is back in town so that's kind of important.
Personal thoughts
This movie was interesting. I mean the town was very steadfast in its beliefs that a farm is for farming. Almost everyone they talked to about the wedding venue idea told them the same thing. "Farms are meant for farming. Your idea sucks." They didn't say the last part but I can imagine that they did. The couple in this movie seemed to have a little bit of chemistry, but I was more interested in the side romance that was happening with her business partner and the bakery owner.
Score
I have to give this movie a 5 out of 10. It was a good time killer and I found myself enjoying it most of the time. I just liked how she lived there and most of the people just considered her an outsider for no reason. I didn't like the ending though. I did like the part where they were just using local businesses as some realization that people can help them get their venue space. Overall just a pretty run of the mill standard romance movie.
